It depends! Glass colors and styles are priced differently as well as adding in materials used and the skill of various shapes and cuts. Most artists price their art around $7-$15 per piece plus labor.

Nope! Think of Glass like you'd think of gemstones; would you price agate the same as gold? In fact, one of the primary reasons for the high cost of pink glass is the inclusion of expensive materials in its formulation. Many pink glass colors are created using precious metals, particularly gold.
NOTE: Glass is an expensive medium of art, whether you are purchasing glass or taking a class. The investment you'd make toward learning glass is based on the process, set-up, tools, time involved, knowledge, and the price of the glass itself. This class is not for anyone, and you may take it and realize this hobby is not for you. That's okay! However, if you're interested in learning, connecting with your mind, and creating something new, then I encourage you to take the leap! -
It depends! If you are taking a streamlined class, some of the steps have been done for you. If you are taking a start to finish style class, you will be doing each step, including breaking the glass, on your own.
Glass is a multi-step process.
Plus, each process is remarkably different from the rest and requires different skills and tools. If you're anything like I was in the beginning, you're likely to get frustrated along the way. I am here to encourage, motivate and teach you, so don't expect to leave being excellent at stained glass, but instead full of knowledge (and maybe a few glass splinters!). -
If you have eye gear and a mask you prefer for glass purposes, please bring those. If not, I will have some available. Since the process can take a while, it also may be beneficial to come with a water bottle and a snack!
